It’s the week of Thanksgiving break for Americans (WOOHOO!) and we are celebrating it by EATING! (Of course!!!)

Like most holidays here in the south, we like to gather together for a wonderful meal (or several), count our blessings, and stuff our faces.

🙂

Today, I’ve gathered for you a collection of 15 rather traditional Thanksgiving recipes that have been VEGAN-IZED.

(Vegans don’t eat just salads, you know!!!)

Lucky for me, my friends and family are usually wonderful about trying to make something special that I can eat whenever we get together (because I’m vegan an ethical eater). This year though, I’d like to make it easy on them and just bring a dish myself!

😀

Do you have a friend or relative that follows a vegan lifestyle and want them to feel included? Or are you a vegetarian who needs inspiration for a suitable dish to bring to your family get together?  Say no more! Any of the recipes collected below would be a fine addition to any meal. And all together, you could actually make your entire Thanksgiving cruelty-free!

Enjoy!

First things first: The Main Dish

Obviously, if you’re going the animal-free route, a turkey won’t be on the menu. And contrary to what a hilarious YouTube skit depicted in the past, vegans don’t mold together berries and twigs into a vegan “turkey” and call it “roughage”. (Does anyone remember that video??? I can’t find it anywhere online!)

So here are a couple options for ya if you don’t want to skip a main dish entirely.

No problem! I just love how “meaty” it looks haha. Even though my vegan journey started nearly 4 years ago, I only recently discovered meatless meatloaf. I’m definitely trying your recipe with my family soon!
